An event production company builds and runs the technical side of an event: the stage and set, LED walls and video, the sound system, the lighting rig, the truss that holds it up, the power that feeds it and the person calling the show on the day. OM Events does this with its own crew and its own core equipment rather than subcontracting the technical scope.

Event management plans the event: agenda, venue, guests, speakers, food and travel. Event production makes the room work: stage, LED, sound, lighting, rigging, power and show calling. OM Events does both, and quotes production alone for agencies and in-house teams who manage their own events.

A basic conference stage with a backdrop, a modest PA and simple wash lighting for about 150 delegates typically starts around Rs 1.5 lakh. A 300-delegate conference with a fabricated set, a 16 x 9 ft LED wall, line array sound and programmed lighting usually falls between Rs 4 and 9 lakh. A product launch with a reveal and a full lighting design sits higher. LED square footage and custom fabrication move the number most.

Our own stock includes JBL VRX and RCF HDL 30 line arrays, QSC and Yamaha loudspeakers, Yamaha, Allen and Heath and Soundcraft Si Expression mixers, Shure, Sennheiser and JTS microphones, LED PAR cans, wall washers, blinders, beam moving heads, lasers, follow and profile spots with DMX control, LG LED TVs from 55 to 85 inches, projectors of 3,000 to 7,000 lumens, and wireless HDMI and CAT6 signal extenders.

Yes. We supply indoor and outdoor LED walls at the size and pixel pitch the room needs, with processing, playback, confidence monitors and content resized to fit the wall. Very large walls are hired from Chennai suppliers we have used for years, and the proposal shows which items are owned and which are hired.

One day before the event for a standard conference stage, and two days for a fabricated set, a large LED wall or ground-supported truss. We agree the access we need with the venue in writing after the recce, so it is not discovered on the day.

Every production has a generator on standby with automatic changeover, and the critical chain, meaning the sound desk, the presentation laptop and the LED processor, sits on a UPS so it rides through the switch without rebooting.

Yes. We produce events for 10+ agencies from Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi and Pune, and for companies running their own agendas. We quote production alone, build to your drawings and run sheet, and take direction from your event lead on the day.

Yes. We produce events across Tamil Nadu, including Sriperumbudur, Mahabalipuram, Coimbatore, Madurai, Trichy, Salem, Tuticorin and Hosur, travelling with our own core crew. Transport, crew travel and stay appear as separate lines in the proposal.

Yes. You get a stage elevation and floor plan with the LED size, podium position and branding areas marked within 48 hours of the brief, so changes are made on paper rather than on site.

Within 24 hours of a complete brief. Send the venue, the date, the headcount and what you want the room to feel like, and the proposal comes back itemised by stage, LED, sound, lighting, rigging and crew. If the headcount or venue is still moving, the quote moves with it.
